Are youth allowed to come unsupervised?
All fairgoers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (21+) at all times at the Rocket City Fair.
How much are tickets?
Admission gives you access to the Tickled Pink Petting Zoo, Lady Houdini’s World-Renowned Escape Show, live music, and more! Tickets and wristbands for your favorite fair rides from Casey’s Rides are sold separately from individual admission tickets.
NEW THIS YEAR – the FAST PASS gives you quicker entry to some attractions using the Rocket Lane.

The fair also offers a military discount for all active-duty and retired military personnel, with a valid ID, to receive $8 entry. We also offer a Senior discount for $8 entry for anyone 60 or older. These discounts are only sold on-site, not online.

How much is parking?
Parking is available on-site for $5 per vehicle (cash/venmo/cash app only)
Do you accept credit/debit?
Both cash and credit/debit are accepted for fair entry and ride tickets/wristbands. Some vendors may only accept cash. We recommend you bring some cash for games and food.
Are there ATMs at the fair?
Yes! There are more ATMs throughout the fairgrounds. Please note they do include surcharges. The fair does not provide refunds. Plan accordingly.
Are there rides for smaller kids?
Big or small there’s fun for ALL at Rocket City Fair! For our little ride enthusiasts, children as small as 36″ can enjoy certain rides if they’re accompanied by an adult. Otherwise, they need to be at least 42″ or 48″ (depending on the ride) to ride alone. Adults will also need a ticket to ride. Click here for height requirements for kiddie rides and major rides.
Are ride tickets sold at the front gate?
Ride ticket booths are located inside the fairgrounds.

What happens during inclement weather?
We are open rain or shine. However, bad or severe weather can close, delay, or cancel the fair entirely or just some attractions and events. We will keep everyone updated via our Facebook and Instagram accounts about whether we will delay opening due to inclement weather. In the event of cancelations and/or inclement weather, the Rocket City Fair does not offer refunds or rain checks.
Will everything be open during fair hours?
Some acts, entertainment, activations, and booths may close up to an hour before the fair closes. Please prepare accordingly with your shopping, eating, and experience.
Are there scooter, wheelchair, stroller, or wagon rentals?
We do not currently provide rentals for these items. We encourage you to bring your own. Though some grass and gravel areas exist, most of the fair’s walkways are paved. Please plan so everyone in your party will enjoy their time here.
Can I leave and re-enter the fair?
For the safety and security of our patrons, re-entry back into the fair is prohibited.
What is the fair's smoking policy?
The fair discourages smoking of cigarettes, vapes, or e-cigarettes of any kind. If you must, please respect the air of those patrons around you.
Do you offer any group specials?
We do not currently offer group specials.
Do you offer refunds?
The Rocket City Fair has a “No Refund” policy. Foxtrot Productions and our Amusement Partner, Casey’s Rides, do not provide refunds or rain checks for admission tickets, ride tickets, or ride armbands for any reason. All sales are final. Weather Notice: During periods of inclement weather, such as high/gusting winds, rain, or nearby lightning, some rides may not operate.
Notice to Ticket Holders
Prices, policies, programs, schedules, entertainment, and shows are subject to change or cancellation without notice. The Fair is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced tickets. Ticket holders assume responsibility for him/herself and for each minor in the charge of the ticket holder. No rain checks. No refunds. The Rocket City Fair reserves the right, without any refund of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission to or eject any person from the Fair for inappropriate conduct. Persons entering the facility assume all risks incidental to the event.
Can I bring my pet?
No. Pets are not allowed unless they are a licensed service animal.
What items are prohibited?
ALL PERSONS ENTERING THE ROCKET CITY FAIR ARE SUBJECT TO RANDOM SEARCH. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS: • Backpacks and bags larger than 17” x 14” x 8”. All bags are subject to search before entering. • Weapons • Alcohol, Illegal drugs or substances • Bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards or roller skates • Balloons of any kind • Drones • Fireworks • Laser pointers • Banners, signs, posters or fliers • Bull horns or air horns • Food and beverages of any type • Coolers, bottles, and cans • Glass containers • Lawn chairs • Pets • Selfie Sticks • Cameras and recording devices capable of producing professional-quality photos, video, or audio recording. SHIRT & SHOES REQUIRED. Patrons entering the facility assume all risks incidental to the event. Fair staff reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person violating any law, rule, or policy or acting in any manner deemed inappropriate by management. The fair does not provide refunds.
Where is the First Aid?
First Aid/Medical are available during open hours at the Rocket City Fair. The First Aid is located at the main entrance under a red 10×10 tent.
Where is Lost & Found?
Lost and found items are reported at the front gate and at the Midway (Casey’s Rides) Office near the front gate.
How do I interact with the animals at the Fair?
You will be able to interact with the animals at the Petting Zoo. Some things to remember are: 1. WASH YOUR HANDS – Washing hands with soap and water after touching any animals or animal areas is the best way to combat transmission of disease 2. Don’t eat or drink in the Petting Zoo 3. Adhere to all warning and informational signs regarding animal contact.
Can I promote my business, sell a product, or fundraise for my group at the fair?
All sales, marketing, campaigning, and fundraising must happen from inside an officially contracted booth space only. Distribution of flyers, promotional, campaign, or other marketing materials; the placement of signs; conducting business of any kind; or soliciting for sales or donations on Fairground property, including parking lots and easements, without a contract is strictly prohibited. Media & Photography Disclaimer
The Rocket City Fair is a ticketed and privately managed, but open event. Professional photographers, media contracted or employed by the Fair, and local reporters will be present taking pictures and footage at the event. These images may be used, without further notification, at a later date to market this event. All persons entering the Fair are subject to having their image and/or likeness reproduced for promotional and/or publicity purposes in Fair, Sponsor or Media photography, video, broadcasts, and/or webcasts.
Can I fly a drone?
No drones are allowed on John Hunt property unless permitted by John Hunt Parks & Rec and Rocket City Fair management.
